I built Alkis for myself. Being in my 40s I started noticing that the way I trained when I was younger wasn't cutting it anymore. I wanted real functional strength, the kind that protects you in compromising movements, not just aesthetics. And honestly, some of those calisthenics movements just look cool and I wanted to challenge myself to learn them.

No existing app handled skills, barbell lifts, mobility, and recovery as one integrated system. Most tracked reps or runs. None remembered how I felt last week, adjusted when I missed a session, or programmed handstand progressions alongside compound lifts.

So I built one that does. Now I am opening it up to people who train the same way.
